Wayne Draper studied at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design in the 1980's.

He spent 10 years living in a remote cabin on Vancouver Island developing his painting style. His abstract work was heavily influenced by the colours of the forest around him. He moved to London ON in the early 1990's where his work was sold through The White Gallery until he moved back out west to Victoria in 1997, where he continues to paint and sell his work.
